I think the method is similar to the Kosher method as well, however the abattoirs ( like other food manufacturers) have not had to pay the discriminatory fee for this. Where are the equal rights for the rest of us who are forced to seek out products that don't pay the fee if we do not want to be forced to support halal certification extortion fees?
