But, anyway I used to play footy with a magnificent bloke in Gingin in the 70s - he was nicknamed Passion Fingers.
I don't want to asperse the memories of my mate, but somehow for quite different reasons, the handle comes to mind when I contemplate the performance of the head shed? How else can one describe what is happening without getting all twitter and bisted?
I have had a discussion with Docmin tonight and there is serious building going on. The cause is building significantly, and quite a number of Significant holders are coming in. Why? Because they can now see that their aspirations for a successful outcome for their investment in EGO are diminishing by the day. More to the point there is no sign to ne seen of that being turned around.
In that context, because there is no promise of anything substantially positive occurring in the forseeable future, why wouldn't the shareholders with significant holdings be ready for real change?
I suspect that anyone in the head shed who has been getting comfortable and complacent in the metaphorical Lounge Car, instead of taking a turn at stoking the boiler to keep the EGO Train rolling along, might be getting a bit nervous in the coming few weeks, if they are not uneasy already?
I am predicting the EGO business does not need the Lounge Car, or the people who like to enjoy the facilities. No need to wonder why the Lounge Car on this EGO train is furtherest from the locomotive? Just accept that under the changes which are coming, the Lounge Car will be the first to be unhooked, along with it's occupants.
What everyone should be thinking about over the next few weeks is the little matter of the, "Believability Index" that can be applied to the
Stuff the company is putting out. Yes I acknowledge it is consistent in one way, but who wants to continue getting worthless rubbish about nothing being accomplished?
I just hope everyone can dare to be honest about what they actually can see now? I stuck up for this outfit for the past 18 months, and if I can say they have let me down, then they must surely have let everyone else (shareholders) down in the process? Themselves included I would suggest?
Anyway, don't take any notice of me, but have a think about getting your proxies ready to use as you decide, "whichever way you decide". If you want change, you will know what to do before the AGM.
If you don't, good luck anyway.
One thing I believe for sure is; For the want of a better term, there will be some railroading (realignment of tracks) going on before, at and after the AGM! If anyone in the head shed is quietly confident about anything, there may well be one or two surprises. The shunting involved hopefully will give rise to some dignified resolutiions of our serious problems in Empire.
Anyway, WhooooooHooooooooo! Choof choof choof, Clikety clack clickety clack. Lets get this EGO Train back on track!
