When my B1 went through the HSC I was about 1,000% more nervous than he seemed to be - familiar?
Good news though is that we both seemed to survive it (although he didn't do that well).
Something which helped him a lot ... have you heard of a STAT test? He wound up doing this - it's a stand-alone test which some Unis take into account when they compute the ATAR - he did very well in that test and that, plus his HSC, was good enough to get into the course which he wanted to do.
Just two weeks ago we went to his graduation.
