My son and I both applied for Epsilon Energy shares soon after supscriptions opened. As is my custom, I paid the post office a few $$$ and used priority post. At least one of the cheques still hasn't been banked but as always I live in hope. The priority shares for Heron shareholders was on a first come, first served basis but allocation of the rest of the shares was more or less at the discretion of the Board.

At this time I would suggest that scalebacks will apply to many applicants and that applications received in the last few days are likely to miss out altogether. Perhaps the best course of action now is to pressure Heron to expedite the refund process.

Epsilon has an attractive array of tenements and is certain to list at a premium. However, the flurry of activity over the first few days after listing may present good buying opportunities for astute traders. Personally, I would like to be buying at this time but I need to have banked my refund cheque first.
