re: no rush.. Good evening Caraman,
I find your thought an interesting one.
Harlee says that "the U is there" and there's "no way out of this fact"
Forgive me if I raise any inaccuracies tonight (damn wine!) but what if the U is there ( as it clearly is) , but in a concentrated narrow "trench" rather than existinging in broader resource based ground?
What would be the economical issues in terms of extracting the ore if this was the case?
I , like everyone else, am looking forward to the soon to be released results on the most recent 10 holes.

I can't but help wonder that if the results ( to date) are as good as they appear, then why hasn't PDN's JB made a play for EXT as he did for Valhalla?

I would have thought that the idea had some merit considering PDN are clearly on the M&A lookout ...and they are "relatively close" to EXT in Namibia.

I'm sure the recent increase in DYL's SP has to some degree been related to PDN's increased holding in the company.
There is a perception that DLY may become PDN2 on some HC threads. Dangerous perception as they are seperate entities and should be viewed as such.

Leon and Gillian were also directors of PDN
(Gillian is now the Company Secretary) and in september 2005 Paladin held 22.5 million shares in DYL then sometime soon after I seem to recall they disposed of a substantial part of their holding (apologies if this was not the case)

The point being that there was a rekindled interest after DYL obtained the new tenaments in Namibia..their interest increased to 7.56% of the company on October 24 and increased again to 11.11% on October 26 ( and just before the 5:1 entitlement issue announcement on November 3)

Now, it could be viewed that PDN was so confident of DYL's tenaments in Namibia that they increased their holding. Of course I'm just summising as I know nothing , but, if DYL's ground proves to be as fertile as EXT's looks like (at this point in time) I wouldn't be surprised to see a friendly M&A.

Don't view this as negative as I continue to hold and once again... apologies for any inaccuracies in my ramble..I'm having a few wines on a saturday night!
I hope EXT has a HUGE amount of U AND becomes a miner and not the explorer I percieve them to be.
If JB was EXT's MD I'd be holding a damn lot more than I currently do!
I'd be interested in others thoughts as well.
As always... all the best to all holders!
    Cline
