So Conoco has pursued this case for over a decade already. Methinks we are dealing with tenacious Texans who will (a) not back down and (b) quickly resort to gunfire if they suspect they might not win. I've thought since day one that we'd be headed to court/arbitration: Your post reaffirms my inkling.
That said, further Chinese whispers suggest FAR is pretty comfortable with where things are at. Hope we all live long enough to confirm that.
