"If there was an option in the ballot paper to vote for "None of the Above" I just wonder how many votes would be recorded there."

There is, it's called doing something else instead. American has a genuinely democratic system which does not have our ridiculous forced attendance. The UK has voluntary voting too which is why Brexit won. The older the voting cohort the more likely they were to vote 'leave' and the more likely they were to actually bother to vote.
Brexit 'remain' was lost on the backs of kids who were not willing to queue in the rain.

The turnout for Trump rallies is massive, unprecedented. The votes Trump got in the Republican primaries were massive, unprecedented. There is a genuine grassroots movement for change and that has got behind Trump. Is he the best person? Not at all. Is he the only candidate for that movement? Yes.

I can think of a dozen better candidates than Trump but I can think of few worse candidates than Hillary Clinton.

If "none of the above" stay home then Trump wins. If it is torrential rain everywhere then Trump wins. Trump supporters are enthused, Hillary supporters don't exist, the best they have is anti-Trump.

Nowhere have I ever heard 'I think Hillary will be great because....'. I have spoken to a lot of potential voters who say 'they are both bad but Trump is worse'. They don't turn up to vote.

This election is for all the biscuits. Trump wins and 20 million Mexicans leave and black people get jobs and out of the ghetto and the Democrats cease to be. Hillary wins and floods the country with Mexicans and Syrians and whoever the hell promises to vote Democrat and America ceases to be.

    All the biscuits.
