South9204. The mPOS machine, in various formats, is offered by all the major banks. I provided an analysis of the market on another MNW thread. Mint has direct sales for the mPOS and a few relationships with 2nd/3rd tier banks for it to be whitelabeled (ie, BNZ and Beyond Bank).
This machine has to bluetooth to either a printer (for a reciept) or a smart devise (iphone) for it to provide a receipt via email. Smart terminals are coming out (such as the NAB MOVE5000, CBA albert, ANZ Blade) which will mean the days of mPOS are, imo, numbered. Taking donations on a smart terminal with a donation app will take 3 steps (press preloaded donation amount button, tap&go, print reciept) all on one device. It takes two devices to do this with an mPOS.
I think the card not present space is where mint should focus (ie, Tramada).
