Latest announcement suggests that the major gold companies (AngloGold holds a big stake already) are interested in taking EAGM over, much to the dissapointment of LSG management who see a float of the company as a much better way to extract full value for the company's assets.

"Lion and African Lion remain of the view that maximum value for shareholders can be achieved by floating EAGM on a stock exchange, most likely in Canada."
