game over

Curious wording from MON and TAM on agreeing to drop merger talks. MON took a placement in TAM recently at 20c. Presumably they saw value at 20c? What has changed? Price? Asset quality? Belief in TAM mine turnaround? Resrve downgrade to come? Underground at TAM uneconomic? Truck load of $$ required to fix the problems? They did due diligence on TAM assets, and now they conclude they can't see value at whatever price TAM wanted to marry at. MON are savvy operators i am told. They have looked at TAM books and assets. If they walk, then that's something TAM holders need to be mindfull of.

As to never say never on getting back together... i guess its down to price.

Previous poster makes an interesing observation, re TAM ASX announcements.... they tend to put out something they call "significant".... "significant new copper results", "significant new mineralisation" then they slot the equity market with a juicey placement thru Hartley Poyntons..... so HP? you ready to back up the truck again?

These are observations, and never to be relied upon for investment making purposes. Always do your own research.
