Cant do it in Australia, all about consumer protections.
How can you trade such an unknown commodity, and when it doesn't work, which it doesn't (see anything "electricity" South Australia), who ensures supply....the network. The NEM is a pure supply/demand platform. these fringe concepts are actually something that LPE can integrate, they own there own networks, on-site generation works perfectly.
People are happy to jump on ideas like this as the best thing ever, but you watch when there little deal leaves them without electricity. or god forbid they have to pay a premium for network power they don't want but really need.
Watch Europe for how Australian market will move Germany market is very similar to Aust. and they truly lead in these ideas.
