A most frankly worded release; and that's what we deserved!
Whilst I (as an old AMM shareholder), had a lot of time for Grist in particular, I fear he may have let personal ambitions cloud his better judgement here, bearing in mind he and Spencely recently declared strong 'alternative' interests leading to their dumping of large holdings on the market.
Best part of all that is that I don't believe it had anything really to do with their view of VOC's fortunes going forward.
Also nothing too unhealthy about the friction and disunity evident amongst the Board....SO LONG as it is swiftly and decisively DEALT with, and it has been.
However I do suspect some dirty tactics were resorted to maybe by parties related to the departing???? which has helped to hurt the share price much more than the general sell down in the sector. Possibly designed to make for uncomfortable tenure of Horth and assist them getting their way.
This latter all imo.
