Malcy is too experienced to be making mistakes like this. It could cost him a lot of money, and also will hurt his reputation. Could be someone in FB mucking around. Did someone try the link when it was in FB (assuming it was not screen copied)? Also if it is Malcy who deleted the blog, shouldn't the trail still be in FB? In the past all Malcy's blog in FB seems to be screen copied across.
Just my thoughts. Hope it's all true though, we have suffered enough.
