Big money has flowed to bonds for safety because anyone with credibility can see real economies around the world are on the brink. But if rates increase to normalise the risk free return, big money will exit bonds and dividend stocks and go to cash, making all that debt overhang harder and harder to repay, constricting growth, and hence trapping central banks back where they started.
