I will add one point of clarification I was for a number of years a pro gambler on the racetracks and earnt considerable sums on Persian War, Brig Gerrard, Mill Reef plus some lessor lights of the tracks. I stopped because the betting tax made it very difficult to turn a profit. Now that I am much older I do not have the courage to put 10 or 20k of Oz Dollars on a horses neck. Nowdays I just gamble for fun. My home has racing memorabilia and I still go racing when ever I can find time. It is my favourite sports pastime. I even get up early to watch The Melbourne Cup every November
