Yes, the management certainly is getting mote and more serious about exports. This certainly isn't a management with a track record of going off on half cocked, wide eyed, costly "growth" adventures. I take a lot of comfort from that.
I have to say, however, that I don't believe we can use the Thailand experience to in any way gauge ARB's export trajectory. My understanding is that the bulk of the Thailand product is for shipment to Australia, where it brought to account as Australian segment sales. You will see in the segment reporting that after inter-segment eliminations, there is not left in terms of Thai sales (off memory).
The Thai operation's have been a great success, yes. But this is a story of successfully exporting ARB's manufacturing capacity, not exportiong ARB's product.
In any case, that's my understanding.
