The junta government will have another excuse to stick around.
It could mean economic damage through reduced tourism (no alcohol or parties allowed for some time). Would that stop them from shutting down gold production? No idea.
The new king...it's hard to say what he'll do, go back to Germany as usual or stick around. Then, will he be a stabilising king or the opposite. Will he leave it up to the junta, or bring back his old associate Thaksin from exile?
