Currently they are fearful of Muslims, previously it was Asians and the perennial they go back to whenever they get the chance is to complain about our indigenous Australians.

They don’t tend to be well educated and if they do get an educated one in their Party ranks its someone who uses the un-educated supporters for their own advantage to get elected and receive a fat Senators pay and associated perks. Its a repetitive cycle.

I'd say there is this modern need to have simplistic answers to everything regardless of consequences. Populism is the curse of this age.
