re: daytrading as a full time job...ultra Cal, it all comes down to instincts. You can make a killing if you can tune into the market. Try it for a while, see how you go. Just stay well away from spec stocks because the volatility makes stop losses too easy to trigger. If you're good, you will know within the first month. If you're not, whack it all in a managed fund.
