Well shi##y is the word - no question. But if this is as 'bad as it gets' before they drill into the 'mother load' Leadville Limestones I guess its bearable.

Actually when you think about it, notwithstanding all the technology etc, we are still talking about a hole, drilling strings and linings etc where they are attempting to handle operations 4.5klm above on the surface. Things can and do go wrong in the drilling business particularily with deep drills such as this, and currently in the US there is a squeeze on rigs and crews and who knows either one or maybe both may not be 100% up to scratch in this case.

But what can we do but wait. The rewards should be well worth the wait.
