60% may be the absolute magic number to gain outright control but 50% is still a very nice level of control.
No one can usurp you if you have 50%.
My reasoning has always been based on the fact we are so cheap.
This is a once in a generation opportunity to grab 50% of a find like this at never to be repeated bottom of the cycle prices.
The fact WPL managed to buy 35% at distressed prices enables them to pay a little more for our 15% to solidify their position.
It seems like a no brainer to me.
