I always thought that the reason they 'vertically integrated' into batteries and electrolyte was that they could not , in the forseeable, (due to a depressed Va market) secure an offtake agreement and all those other things associated with developing a greenbush resource. Otherwise, why would they not adopt the strategy you sugest (DFS, offtakes and mining licences) ? IMO AVL are just muddling about, trying to keep afloat. Canapes anyone?
