If the institutions believe that it is time to switch out of defensives ( utilities,property trusts and banks) in favour of growth stocks ( media,resources,other cyclicals) then it may continue to fall. Last cycle low (1999/2000) AGL dipped below $8.00 from memory. It depends on how strongly you view any recovery stories.
