Transporting batteries by air ... I was in China about 2 years ago and tried to bring about 50 or so lithium battery powered torches back in my check in luggage and was told all the batteries must be in my carry on luggage they would not allow me to have them in my check in luggage so i spend about an hour taking out all the batteries out from the torches and stuffing them into my carry on luggage and when this was done they let me on the plane and I flew home with a bag full of Lithium batteries sitting above my head ...true story .
