time to think seriously why you held ARI shares.
There was a time when It was touch and go whether to swap to FMG as the shares were the same price.
Naturally If i had done so I would be many millions ahead.
Part of my decision not to was the value of Moly-Cop.A Coca-Cola brand in its marketplace.
Steel in a captive high growth rebar market with capacity to burn and profits to be had.
The most efficient energy conversion(read costs )in making this steel.
The other part was the hidden assets within ARI -numerous land holdings including that sitting in Sydney just dying for a little bit of business nouse and entering into a partnership with a developer.
Unfortunately I didn't realize I was stuck with a board that still acted as though it was just a the devision of the old BHP and kept its old habits up.
such is the cost of missing the obvious.
