I'm starting to wonder, given that the DPP can work all these things out, why do we need the court system at all.
The manner in which evidence can be played with, ie. allowed to be admitted or rejected is one of the negative aspects of our system. Surely all evidence should come before the court and the court alone decides it's relevance or otherwise.
