As a 'deal-maker' (and lets face it, that's really his ultimate contribution to the sector), he's not a lot of value to a company about to enter the clinic. I mean, its not like he's a clinical trials specialist, or has some history of registering products with regulatory bodies, much less sell something to clinicians.
As Tyremen suggested with PRR, he has done his dash with OSL, picked up plenty of pre-money stock prior to the IPO which is now out of escrow and is no longer needed for financial 'engineering'.
I don't think CDY would have offered him the opportunity he would have liked, so why hang around there?
Watch this space. He will definitely pop up again soon. I am guessing something in the regenerative medicine sector - lotsa dumb money chasing stem cell therapies
