Dbt9, I have a great deal of respect for my father.. who is an atheist. I find it much easier to reason with professed atheists than many religious people.If you read the verse in its context you will notice it is talking about the latter.
(Titus 1:15, 16) All things are clean to clean people; but to those who are defiled and faithless, nothing is clean, for both their minds and their consciences are defiled. They publicly declare that they know God, but they disown him by their works, because they are detestable and disobedient and not approved for good work of any sort.
"Defiled and faithless" is a description of Satan and his demons.
