i appreciate your style of argument. its health and i commend u on it.
firstly if you are a student of history then you will know that commodities cycles last around 17 years on each swing. therefore we are 5 years in to a 17 year cycle.
why is it that a cycle cant last 5 years only? perhaps because of the long lead times in ramping up a mine and then because of under investment the corresponding problem with getting workers, mining equipment etc and as simple a thing as a short supply of Tires for trucks. companies have to build new factories in order to supply the demand, i cant see them doing that if the boom is over. Therefore if they cancel then we have a shortage and mines are unable to produce at maximum output etc etc. we are not dealing with a banana crop here.
I think you understand all of that.

as soon as the price of commodities drop to a point where it is uneconomical to mine then you will have supply destruction as well.

The best minds in the business are saying the run for zinc is not over yet.

Are you calling it as over or just a temporrary set back in the price?
