I make you right given a year or two when the oil starts coming from former HDR areas in high volumes, what Tullow has paid plus what they will have to invest will come back manyfold. However if the shareholders stay with Tullow they might not end up shafted. They may do very well financially.
This was a game of poker between TLW, WPL and HDR. Sadly HDR was unable to stay in the game for whatever reason. So they folded their hand. Now the new hand will be between TLW and WPL over progress in Mauritania perhaps things are going to change for the better.
I hope TLW will continue to grow and who knows they may even be taken over themselves with a juicy premium for us TLW shareholders
