You make a very important in regards to knl being an illiquid stock. This is very important when considering TA as often false signals can be created and there tends to be less conformity whereas in stocks with large turnover the TA has greater conformation. As an example look at the signals created leading up to the sojitz announcement. When I learnt ta my mentors first advise was that if applying classical TA the first check point was liquidity. No liquidity means no trading.
