Another difference between amusement parks and aviation, is that there are different labor unions too in aviation with the TWU like the Teamsters compared with the AWUQ.
In aviation, QAN, VAH and AIZ seem to appoint people favored by the Unions such as Joyce and ex AWU boss Paul Howes' wife, Olivia Wirth, on the QAN Board whereas in amusement parks, CEO Deborah Thomas appears to be an appointment as an ex-Liberal Party (non-union) affiliated politician from Woollahra Council in Sydney.
So labor relations seem very different between airline carriers and amusement parks. If you check out social media, quite a few DW staff appear to be worried about going back to work concerned regarding their personal safety from customers. Some suggest patrons will be negative towards them and act Trumplike, whatever that means, they seem pretty young from their FB/TWR photos connected to their accounts.
