the market is possibly finding a new theme for 07; perhaps an extension of the commodities theme or a variation. hard to see another sector coming into favor but another possible scenario is a 6 month retracement of commodities with or without a recession background and a second half claw back to status quo.
built into this scenario could be a fall across the board of commodity prices and selective market plays in japan/europe; correction in aus/uk/usa.
