Thanks panorama, I appreciate the time you took to respond to my question... my understanding has thus improved somewhat, however i'm still not quite clear as to why some traders feel the *need* for 'closure' (so to speak). Is it because the gap remains a potential 'weak' point to which the SP may return? (I think you hinted at this). And if so, is this more psychological than anything else, as in, everyone fearing the same thing and so negatively impacting sentiment, perhaps in a subliminal way??? (think I'm waffling now...)
