I admit that I do not know AU regulations. If this was a US stock it would be impossible to legally short. You cannot write or buy puts or calls in US on this stock because of price. In AU is there any way to short it? From a practical point of view shorting any low price stock offers a very good chances for very large losses and very limited gain. Shorting low price stocks just does not make much sense in general. Many people besides you talk about shorting Lynas as if it is happening. Is there any information to support this? I picked you for this question because you seem to be more informed than some of people talking about shorting.
