Lol, how silly is that comment when NTU hanging by its fingernails to issue $30M of shares over a barren patch of ground & DyO price clearly uneconomic < $180kg?
LYC business well established and operating around or just above break even, simple fact is current prices do not allow it to service legacy debt. Unfortunate, existing SH's will lose considerable leverage to any price recovery, but lenders yet again acting in support will ensure the business goes forward.
Reduced return/reduced risk, probably a reasonable trade off for those that can recognise that the RE industry will never return to the ridiculous price levels of recent years. REO are a commodity, and there is far greater supply than demand, they are NOT semi precious metals as some still appear to believe.
