i agree with you lostout - they must be supremely confident of a positive result and given the fact phase 2 passed in an apparent dose dependent manner makes me think it would have to work this time?!?!? higher dose, longer timeframe.
I'm comfortable that the trial will be successful and we know safety isn't a concern. Endpoints were carefully chosen , which I believe stacks the cards heavily in favour of NEU achieving a positive. So, again I think the higher doses for longer periods with endpoints chosen that they know will respond well makes me a believer!
What I do question is the level of success - will it be a knockout success or just a success. Any sort of results that are better than OK should also put us in a strong position this time for BTD given the statistical power should be beefed up this time.
What they have is worth something to someone, would treagus risk his career and reputation to gamble on deferring a deal until after p2b? If there was any doubt, some sort of deal would have been done .
So 4c now - major binary event coming - seems like excellent upside from here if you like calculated risk.
