Howdy, and like you, I'm looking forward to the year ahead for our 'long term' investment. I just scanned the report by "Development Systems Limited".
What a lot of amateurish bollocks! A group of 'associated companies' - what? They can't even manage to identify them by name? The whole tone and text of the document reeks of a backyard operation. No hard statistics, no mention of previous work, contracts filled, nuthin'..
Don't think ERG has too much to worry about there.
The more important aspect of current developments is the WBC connection - and that will be very interesting. I think, all of a sudden, certain institututions are realising that the very definite future of the smart card is upon us - positions are being taken, and when you consider it, how many companies in operation today have the experience and technology to play this game? ERG, Thales, Cubic, maybe Keane, one or two others, but what names have been around longest, and while we're at it, scalability is not an issue for ERG - their systems have already been stress tested many times, and have proven time and again to be well up to the task - it's the impositions placed upon the company and its software by bureaucratic departmental dimwits with political ambitions. Trust me. I know.... (by the by, have been adding seriously for last 2 months or so)
