Here is a new article regarding KNL which was written on Friday 28th October,2016. Pretty much sums up the rapid progress of which KNL is progressing towards mine development and production late 2017 ;-)

I have gone thru the above link and translated it as set out below for those most interested :
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Australian Kibaran Resources (WKN A1C8BX / ASX KNL) is driving the development of its graphite project Epanko ahead at full speed. In parallel, the company is working with the German KfW IPEX-Bank in the financing of the mine building - and making progress on both fronts.

Part of the funding process has been the creation of an independent engineering report prepared by the experts from SRK on behalf of KfW IPEX-Bank. On receipt and subsequent discussions with the Bank Kibaran has now completed some additional technical work to adjust the loan policy of the bank and the requirements of due diligence the project.

This work has already been initiated in July in parallel with preparatory development activities on Epanko and Kibaran scoring rapid progress. The work included, among other infill (destination) and expansion drilling, water drilling, the creation of a resettlement action plan (RAP Relocation Action plan) and other measures to ensure a smooth transition to a timetable and project development.

In particular, the Resettlement Action Plan RAP represents an important prerequisite for determining the loan conditions and must be completed before the KfW IPEX-Bank may submit the documents for obtaining a federal guarantee for Untied Loans (UFK). Until this point done Kibaran has decided to use the time and the preparatory development activities, including technical work drive.

Among other things, it has been almost completed a diamond and RC drilling program, distributing with previously 5,693 meters drilled in 45 holes, and by mid-November should be followed by further 1,350 meters. Five water holes, showing that sufficient water should be available for graphite processing are also already completed.

In the Eastern and Western Zone additional holes are also been carried out, the confidence in the resources - as part of the planning for the first phases of production - increase. At the same time as additional geotechnical data for the preparation of mining plans were recovered.
Simultaneously Kibaran has the opportunity also used to carry out a geophysical EM survey (electromagnetics), the exploration targets along strike of the eastern mining area identified. It is expected in the company so that these objectives will lead to an increase in the resource base of Epanko.
To position the project for the development of better, the preparatory development work was also fed into an engineering study on the expansion of the project. Under this plan, the annual production capacity of 40,000 Epanko will rise to 60,000 tonnes of graphite concentrate. This is necessary because Kibaran has already concluded sales agreement - including ThyssenKrupp (WKN 750000) - which cover 100% of the originally planned production! Once the field work is completed, GR Engineering will therefore make an addendum to the existing feasibility study.

As regards the resettlement action plan Kibaran has an international advisory group on environmental and social issues mandated with proven experience in Tanzania, to ensure that the RAP meets the performance standards of the IFC. This advisory group has worked with the World Bank and other international lenders.
The company has the public area, will affect the Epanko be narrowed, and the socio-economic study of the communities that will be affected both directly and indirectly, to conclude soon. The investigation into land and assets is also well under way. The appointment of local and international specialists in this program will ensure that the work meets the highest standards.
Possible resettlement and compensation areas have been identified and are currently of the corresponding working group (Relocation Working Group RWG) tested. The working group is composed of representatives of all stakeholders, including the community Epanko, the regional and local authorities, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, as well as minority groups.
Moreover Kibaran has commissioned an experienced consultant to make a preliminary estimate of property and assets in an investigation. The results from these studies and the preliminary assessment will be required in a Neuansiedlungsplan as by KfW IPEX-Bank. Kibaran will have completed all this work in the first quarter of next year and a formal valuation by an expert of the Government is also expected in the first quarter 2017th Thus the work of the expert of the company is verified.
And last but not least is already running a feasibility study for the downstream processing of Epanko-graphite, with respect to the possible production of battery performance (spherical) graphite for lithium-ion battery industry, for the substantially higher prices would be achieved than for graphite concentrate.
Kibarans Managing Director Andrew Spinks is equally confident and explained that the comprehensive activities on Epanko would pave the way for the conclusion of the financing agreements. The progress already made would allow the company to meet the ambitious timetable.
