Far too much is being read into these announcements.
As FJ said partly passive/aggressive, but more about just saying "business as usual"
These are say "nothing announcements".
They are just saying "internal details of the agreement between COP and WPL have been finalized".
Just a procedural step.
Says nothing regarding the big ticket items, the dispute, (ongoing) and Govt Approval.
If they are not crowing about having been granted Govt approval then take it that they haven't been granted Govt approval.
I expect FAR to say today it is also that it is "business as usual".
Probably no need for a TH.
The only thing that I do take from it, (Tony), is that if WPL was to have a go at FAR, to make the dispute "go away", (unlikely), then they, WPL, are one step closer to being in a position to do so.
Notwithstanding that there would still be major hurdles to actually get to that position.
The biggest probably being the Senegalese Govt, and their "wishes, allegences etc".
As I see it nothing has changed. If there was accumulation going on then just another good "shake of the tree" to accumulate a few more.
See what today brings, but I don't expect much.
