I have sat in on many meetings with Mike Wilkins, going back to his time as MD of Promina. He is a brilliant businessman and his appointment to QBE is a big plus for the company. Add QBE's leverage to higher interest rates ( which are inevitable - just a question of when), and this company is a good long term investment.
