question to the pros.

Hello all. I'm 20 years old. When I was 16 I started a online advertising business and for a few random events I've had to shut it down (nothing illegal). My piggy bank sits at just over $50k. My 2 options are to 1) use that money to live and just complete my engineering degree (2 years left) or 2) try and start making money on the markets. I don't feel like going to work at maccas with some 15 year old as my boss.

A while ago I tried the markets but got burnt - mainly from rampers - a $15k lesson in stock trading. Never trust lawyers in charge of a drilling company. This time am going to get my hands on everything possible and learning more before jumping in.

Does anyone have some good reads on trading? I would prefer high risk/return otherwise I might as well just keep it in the bank. Preferably online material. I'm in Brisbane so if there's anything local that would help me I'd also be interested in hearing that.

I'm not into paying $3000 for a seminar or stock software. Definantly not into going to a venue and listen to "pro's" reveal their "secrets".

    Thanks in advance.

    Stephen.
