In the last 50yrs, America in particular and the west in general has been trying Slavery MkII. In MkI they imported the slaves to pick the cotton. Sadly the Southern land owners lost the war against the "libertarian" North. The Blacks were freed. Now they don't only live amoung the whites but compete in the marketplace. Recognising this was a big mistake they now enslave peons in their own country. [Clapped out slaves, still at home, are no drain on the USA's social security]. The arrangement is perfect, the enslaving government's mandrins are like a rat with a gold tooth. Enough hard currency for them to maintain the lifestyle to which they are rapidly becoming acustomed. Slavery MkII is unravelling. When the bits of green paper are seen for what they are, a cheep substitute for beads and trinkets, the slavemasters will up their price.
It's late Sun and I may have lost the plot. I hope not because this is a serious matter.
