Personally, I'm happy to see the terms of the deal before I even contemplate a decision about selling.
If the deal is good enough there will be plenty of buyers to replace our disillusioned holders, so that aspect doesn't bother me in the slightest - it happens on every stock that has a re-rate, but imo it's prudent to assess the value on it's merits rather than listening to the chip on one's shoulder.
