A great way to get off the mark; awesome post. Thanks for taking the time to update everyone so soon after the meeting and comprehensively at that.

As I am based in Europe I rely on selfless posters such as you to be the eyes and ears on the ground.

Having owned and operated BPO business in India, servicing North American customers, I fully concur with the point about customer retention. After IAM becomes fully embedded within its customer's operation, the switching costs are almost insurmountable. What are the options for an IAM customer to change? Do they go through all the on-boarding costs and pain again? And for what benefit? Saving a couple of % points but unravelling all the previous process? Not worth it imo. The other alternative, build up the in-house capabilities again? Sure, but then lose all the savings. And where do they source experienced staff? They have already been redeployed into other, possibly more senior/value-adding roles. Set up their own version of IAM? Maybe. But starting from scratch? Very difficult and time consuming. Then we have the value-add of Klip etc. With IAM's technology play, we shift from being a pure play Business Process Outsourcing, BPO, offering to a Knowledge Process Outsourcing, KPO, offering and subsequently we move up the value chain and build greater barrier to entry/increase switching costs. Brilliant strategy.

In time, I see IAM being able to charge a high price or even a premium for its services. Calm the farm, I mean in 5-10 years in the 2nd/3rd iteration of our contracts with our existing customers.

Small point, and I mean very small in the overall scheme of things. I think you may find the place in the Philippines is Cebu; a resort island. Not too shabby. At least in the resorts anyway.

I like how we are able to build upon our knowledge with subsequent meetings. PC seems to have a very approachable style with a cheeky sense of humour. Loving his interactions with us via Twitter.

So I guess my post re: Chuck's appointment and possible international expansion was right. Not that I am looking for kudos, honest!!! But... I would like to know a little more about their strategy. Does IAM intend to partner with other firms? In AU we get credibility and network from PC and MR. I previously noted Chuck's experience with Kaplan and Kaplan's international footprint. Maybe this is something to follow-up in Syd/Mel meetings.

I would also like to know, if Sentry has exclusivity re: independent, mid-tier firms, who are these firms? @Bodhi_Trader are you able to shed light on this? Is this a possible follow-up question for Syd/Mel.
