A great article from another forum
Steeler,
Great work finding this superb article on growth-promoting antibiotics. This is a "must read article" for all CMQ believers as well as unbelievers. It conclusively shows there is no economic sense for farmers to use GPAs.

CMQ biggest potential and blue sky potentials is to replace GPAs with chemeq antimicrobial. A ban on GPAs should enhance CMQ’s chances of success.
HOWEVER notwithstanding even if the court should rule in CMQ’s favor on 10 Jan next week, CMQ is not out of the woods yet. CMQ has yet to prove that chemeq can take the world by storm. Shareholders expectations puffed up by the contant "good news" (real or otherwise) from the CMQ management had taken batterings after batterings from the company results. There has been no reported sales since March 06 and there will be hardly any sales receipts reported for the half year ending 31 December. Only a total of $28,000 sales receipt had been recorded for the period ending 30 November. The financial accounts for the period ending 30 June 06 showed millions of dollars owing from distributors. The near-zero sales receipts show clearly that other distributors (and not just Inviro) are not paying for the sales too! Why?
Chemeq is promoted to investors as a product that will take the world by storm in replacing GPAs. From memory, CMQ presented that the product (API) could be sold for about Aud 1 million per ton. I cannot recollect any CMQ information that said the API is cheaper than antibiotics, perhaps Steeler and Waratah can confirm this or provide the CMQ information on this to prove chemeq is cheaper. The bluesky as far as I remember is that GPAs is progressively being banned and this creates a vacuum for replacement products such as chemeq.
Ironically, Steeler had provided a very detailed and comprehensive article concluding that there is no economic sense for farmers to use GPAs, so why will it make sense for farmers to use the more expensive chemeq? Is this the reason why farmers are not scrambling to lay their hands on chemeq ; why other distributors including Inviro are not paying and why there are no sale contracts reported since March 06?
Come on Waratah and Steeler, we would like to hear your spin on this. Is there any proof chemeq at Aud1M per ton cheaper than GPAs? When GPAs do not make economic sense to farmers, why will the Aud1M/ton chemeq API make sense?
Cheers
