Clowns they (mm and gob) are both. You'd hope in time that even they would get bored with their childish nonsense, but incredibly, apparently not. I stopped looking at HC a year or two back because of the clown goblin, and am astounded he's still getting a gig. (There's a certain resonance though ... back then the gob was generally bagging the OXr, which at the time was sitting around 90c.)
