The facts (according to WHO):

-4000 eventual deaths from radiation-related cancers.
-Hundreds of billions of dollars in economic damages.
-Environmental contamination that will be a concern for decades to come.

The impression the program gave was that 50 people died and everything else was just tabloid hysteria.

Lets face it, it was a massive disaster. The WHO are trying to stop dwelling on the negatives and to give the people of the region a bit of hope. The program makers have their own agenda to give nuclear power a bit of a plug.
