The market has been skeptical ever since this turn-around story has begun. It's a sexy story but with few believers.

We were told the bulk of the $15m of the capital raise went to quality institutions.

Maybe soon, some of those institutions will start accumulating more shares. Maybe theier "buy more" trigger event will be announcement of first patient in.

The trouble is FTT is very tightly held. It will be hard for funds to buy a decent parcel without moving up the share price.

Good news for present holders!

The best shares are the illiquid ones that are bringing out a steady stream of price-re-rating good news.

What might the good news look like?

1. perhaps some more favourable non-commissioned analyst reports
2. publication of the scientific paper reporting the favourable economics of FTT's product as a treatment ( due soon, as mentioned in today's update)
3. report of "first patient in" in next 2-3 weeks
4. perhaps an announcement that a fund has moved to substantial share holder level
5. hopefully an exciting annual general meeting presentation
6.perhaps reports of company management buying more sahres
7. perhaps FTT getting tipped by a small cap stock-picking newsletter
8. perhaps some good media coverage
9. maybe Chris B and Nigel J will do a bit of a roadshow selling the story
10. the share chart has broken to new yearly high today ( 7.4c), which will trigger alerts for technical traders trading breakouts.
11. Hillary Clinton should win the election, hopefully removing a terrible dark cloud of gloom from market.

It's all positive stuff, which can trigger an upward spiral of market sentiment.

Peter Lynch said in his famous book, One Up on Wall Street, that he made most money on turnarounds, as the market often refused to price in good news events for ages, because it refused to believe the company's fortunes had indeed turned around.

FTT is a bit like that: for a long time it was regarded as a dog and it was a dog; it's definitely not a dog any more, but the market is slow to forgive...

I sure called that wrong. Hillary Clinton almost certainly won't win. Trump appears to be the winner, and the world we know is about to come to an end.

The future, including that of sweet little ASX-listed biotechs, is now way too hard to call.
