Anecdotal I know, but...
Last Wednesday arvo I was at the doctor's around the time Trump was well up in the EC count. I mentioned to the doctor the likelihood of a President Trump. his reaction was "scary isn't it".
When I was paying. I mentioned the same thing to the women behind the desk. Their look of disbelief when they realised I wasn't joking changed slowly to a look of anxiety and fear.
No kidding.
Maybe it's just that Trump's unbecoming behaviour has been overexposed in the media, maybe it's just a natural reaction. Or a combination of both.
